Mathew has been a practicing Witch for many years, having received formal training through the Temple of Witchcraft in Salem, New Hampshire, USA, as well as training in Shamanic healing and Reiki. This wealth of experience led him to teach Witchcraft for over five years, deepening both his practice and his service to the wider spiritual community. His path has also included four years of dedicated coven work, which inspired him to continue his spiritual journey by pursuing Oracle Priesthood training with the Glastonbury Goddess Temple.
Mathew is also the co-founder of the "Swansea Goddess Temple" and "Gaia and the veil". His work is rooted in intuitive practice, lived spiritual experience, compassion, and a deep respect for personal transformation. Every reading is approached with reverence, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others find clarity, strength, and deeper understanding upon their path.

What is an Oracle?
Historically, the word oracle has referred to both a sacred role and a means of receiving divine guidance. Many forms of divination - including Tarot, Runes, tea leaves, and scrying - have been used as oracles: tools through which messages, insight, and guidance may be received. Traditionally, an Oracle could also be a person devoted to serving as a channel between the divine and those seeking wisdom. In many spiritual traditions, this was a sacred role requiring years of devotion, discipline, and training. Within Mathew's own spiritual practice, Oracle work is a devotional path centred on communion with the Divine, offering guidance intended to inspire reflection, personal growth, and spiritual insight.
What does an Oracle do?
Every Oracle works in their own unique way. Before each session, Mathew prepares a sacred space using candles, incense, prayer, and other ritual practices. Through invocation and meditation, he enters a receptive state in which he seeks communion with his patron Goddess, Hekate, together with spirit guides and the unseen world according to his spiritual tradition. During the reading, Tarot, Runes, scrying mirrors, or other divinatory tools may also be used to help communicate guidance and insight. The focus is always on offering meaningful reflection, spiritual support, and compassionate guidance for your journey.
What can I expect from a reading?
Your visit to The Crossroads Oracle is intended to be a calm, welcoming, and sacred experience.
You will be welcomed by Mathew into the parlour, where you'll be invited to relax and make yourself comfortable. Gentle music will play in the background, and you'll be encouraged to spend a few quiet moments in meditation or reflection, allowing yourself to settle into the space and connect with your own inner wisdom.
When you feel ready, Mathew will begin his invocation, inviting his patron Goddess, Hekate, together with his spirit guides - and, where appropriate, yours - to bring forward guidance for your highest good. As the session comes to a close, Mathew offers a blessing in honour of Hekate, intended to leave you with renewed strength, clarity, courage, and confidence as you continue on your path. Whether you are seeking guidance during a difficult crossroads, reassurance in uncertain times, or simply a sacred space for reflection, you are warmly welcomed.
Who is Hekate?
Hekate is an ancient Goddess honoured throughout the ancient world as Keeper of the Crossroads, Bearer of the Torch, Guardian of the Threshold, and Guide through times of change and transformation. She is often associated with wisdom, witchcraft, intuition, protection, and the mysteries that lie between the seen and unseen worlds. Within his own spiritual practice, Hekate is the patron Goddess to whom he is devoted. It is through prayer, devotion, and reverence to Her that he undertakes his Oracle work, seeking to offer guidance with compassion, integrity, and respect.
How much is a reading?
The current rate for my time is £30 and readings typically last for 30 minutes.
Do I need to know anything else?
Simple that when you arrive at the parlor, please check the mediumship board and read my disclaimer form and code of practice, helping you to understand that any reading you choose to have, you do in fact agree to the conditions and terms therein.

Witchcraft: The Wild Path for Beginners (Postponed until numbers met)
This course is taken directly from my book, it runs for one year and one day, with the final day being the day of initiation on the path of the Witch if one so chooses.
Course contribution is £300, non refundable and must be paid upfront before deadline provided shortly. All money goes to the Temple and expenses!
Classes will be taught at: The “Wellness Temple, Three Cliffs Bay, Gower, Swansea”, on the dates below from 11:30-13:30
What to expect?
The first class will involve a discussion - beginning with an opening ceremony in which we briefly introduce our names, do a meditation to relax ourselves to enter into a meditative state. Over the course of the year we will:
- Journey to meet our spirit guides, guardians and allies
- Build our relationship with the God, Goddess and individual Pagan deities who wish to work with us
- Tune into the cycles of nature to seek harmony with all life
- Walk a path of service to life, helping animals, people and nature
- The path of the Witch offers true spiritual nourishment, independence from doctrine, freedom of faith, freedom of expression and harmony with nature
What to bring?
- A very positive, can-do and willing attitude to learn and participate!
- A pen and a notepad for additional comments if you so wish

- In person tuition and support from an experienced guide

- Due to a desire to go greener, most class notes are in e-format, thus no paper

What does Mathew expect from those that he guides?
- A sincere attempt to learn and grow, with the ability to self-reflect
- Tolerance to all regardless of characteristics or background
- That all members treat each other as equals, regardless of experience (if any)
- That any sensitive or antagonistic political subjects remain outside of the circle, positive perspectives regarding nature, animals and humanity are welcome
- To be aware that all people learn and practice every part of life differently, so do not compare themselves to each other, just work together
What is the application process?
1. Send an email via social media expressing your interest, it does not need to be formal. Just introduce yourself, your reason for wanting to do this course, where you are from, what you are expecting or hoping for?
2. If Mathew feels like it is an appropriate fit for you, he will make that known and invite you to meet him in person, not only to help settle first class nerves, but to get to know you a little and your personal circumstances. This may even be a couple of people on a small walk or meditation somewhere.
3. You will be required to make the full course payment up front given the timeline advertised, you are not just paying for the course, but the seat.
4. As soon as the payment clears you will be invited to a closed, private Facebook group so all correspondence may be done online. Whatsapp will not be used, nor other platforms as they are not ideal for endless comments or essay length comments that members will share with each other.
What if I cannot make all of the classes, or decide to leave the course?
- If you cannot make a specific class or event, just give Mathew plenty of notice so the class is not held up
- Applicants are expected to attend the majority of the course because it is personal development but also group-work at hand, to drop below 75% may result in a discussion regarding remaining and the ability to catch up - or not catch up
- Similar to above, if at any point - class 4 or class 12 - you decide to leave, just let Mathew know, come to that final class to say goodbye and Mathew will give you the separation ritual and bestow a farewell blessing. Those who leave with the courtesy of notice are not held in poor standing as life is ever changing and sometimes sacrifices and postponements must be made.
Who is not admissible to this course, but is to future workshops or stand alone events?
- Previous members who left the course without the courtesy of informing Mathew first
- This particularly applies to those who left without notice and did not pay their fees, causing him to fund the room himself at a loss
The reason why this has been implemented going forward is not just a matter of manners and resources, but fairness also to those who could have joined in their place.
